WHAT WE DO

The Kiwi Asian Club is a group for everyone on and off campus! We have been one of the most active clubs on campus since 2001, hosting weekly social, cultural, sporting, and charity events throughout the university year. 

 

We aim to build lasting friendships and help you form meaningful connections and memories. With over 1000 members, we celebrate the cultural diversity of students in New Zealand, and people of all backgrounds are welcome to join.

 

If you're a new member, don't worry! We hold team-based events for people to meet each other, and our friendly executive team is here to help you along the way.

Our President Executive, Eason!

 

The heart, soul, and definitely the (loud 🗣️) voice of KAC, Eason’s at the head of KAC’s table, leading the team and ensuring everything runs smoothly throughout the year. You’ll probably catch him running around campus with his digicam, or recreating the latest K-Pop choreography 🕺🕺.

Nat’s in charge of all the money coming in and out of KAC and makes sure every event comes with food 🫡 Rumor has it that she was last seen benching 200kg without a spotter (not really), so be careful not to steal her Matcha from her or disturb her while she’s taking OOTD selfies 🙅‍♂️

Our Media Executive, Sam!

 

Affectionately nicknamed after a root vegetable, Sam handles all the design work within KAC, and created Kaco the Dragon as our new KAC Mascot! 🐉 When it comes to designs and digicam pics, she leaves no crumbs 📸✏️ If she’s not studying she’s always keen for a game of Overwatch but don’t even mention Val… that’s a hard pass. 😇

The maknae of the group, he is in charge of all of the marketing within KAC, including managing the KAC social media, cooking up ideas for our reels, and having to pour water for everyone at team dinners 🙂‍↕️ You’ll probably see him running around events with his camera, and if there’s ever a photo on our Instagram that does you dirty, you know who to blame 😇

The biggest instigator within KAC, Jimmy’s role in KAC involves stirring up drama whilst also creating all the video content for our Instagram and Tiktok. 📹 You’ll probably see him around GenLib sipping on a Raspberry Pepsi Max, and it probably isn’t his first. Or his third. 🥤🥤
